This 9lb Bass was caught by Les Heath aboard Livlot out of Littlehampton.
Pictured holding the Bass is Livlot's skipper Mick 'Pinchers' Pinchbeck.
The duo also had several Tope as well as Black Bream and Doggies during a very productive session.

Dan Rawlins from Rustington caught this 65lb tope 11 miles off the coast of Littlehampton aboard his own fishing boat on a runing trace and a Mackerel fillet.
Dan and his fishing buddy Kevin Upperton, boated a total of 12 congers to 70lbs and two Tope to 65lbs plus a 6lbs Bass on a one night session

This 20lb 5oz common was Jamie Harvey's first twenty of 2011 and it was caught on the kd rig and 2 pieces of fake corn over a bed pellet.
She was the best of a 10 fish haul from Passies Pond in Shoreham, Jamie also had a nice little fat 16lb mirror in the same session.

Kai Young spotted this Wildie Common Carp swimming with some large Rudd he was stalking in the Aldingbourne Rife.
A quick change to a small piece of luncheon meat proved too much for the wily fish to resist, it had probably never seen a hook before, let alone been caught.
Although no specimen it fought extremely hard on light tackle in the restricted swim he was fishing.

This scale perfect Common Carp was the best of a large mixed bag of fish from Mill Farm for Kai Young.
Although most of the fish were caught on Dynamite soft hookable pellets, Kai had to vary the hook bait often to keep the fish interested on what was a very hot day.

Jamie Stacey with a personal best Tench caught whilst fishing for Carp on the Mill Farm complex at Bury.
Jamie also landed a personal best Carp of 16lb during the same session whilst fishing with his buddy Kai Young.

Tropikoi Tackle Shop sales assistant Kai Young shows off a perfect example of the quality Silver Bream that inhabit the lakes at the Mill Farm Complex at Bury.
Although now quite scarce throughout the British Isles the British Rod Caught Record Silver Bream came from Bury Mill Fisheries.

Les Heath with a new PB Mirror Carp taken whilst on a carp fishing holiday in France.
The 62lb 8oz beauty came from L'etang de Cherpont in the Limousin district of France and was part of a 14 fish catch that included other Mirrors and Commons to 37lb.

Mick 'Pinchers' Pinchbeck with a Thornback Ray landed aboard his own boat 'Livealot' from an inshore mark in Bracklesham Bay.
The thornie was part of a mixed bag of fish which included Black Bream, Mackerel, Smooth Hound and Dogfish. It gave a great account of itself on the 6lb class Ugly Stik rod Mick was using.
Nice Fish - bet that gave the new rod a bend Pinchers!

Jamie Harvey with a stunning 29lb mirror carp, the best of a 30 fish haul from Mill Farm Fishery.
Jamie had the very hard fighting fish, which took 15 mintures to net, on double 8mm halibut pellets. The other fish fell to the same tactics.

Darren Whiting landed this 23lb Blonde Ray aboard his brother Pete's private boat 'My Bird' out of Littlehampton.
The specimen fish was the best of an eight ray catch for Darren and was caught in fifty foot of water, they all fell to mackerel fillet on a long flowing trace.

Fishing from his own private boat 'My Bird' out of Littlehampton Pete Cook took numerous bass including this 8lb plus fish.
Drifting over a First World War wreck Peter also ensured his fishing buddy Max got amongst the fish and he topped the session with an absolute stunner of a bass that went over eleven pounds.

Peter Cook took a break from the bass fishing off Bognor with a holiday to Hawaii where he enjoyed a days big game fishing.
Pete is pictured with a 70lb Yellowfin Tuna, one of several he caught on the trip. His biggest fish however was a rare Oceanic Whitetip Shark estimated at 450lb which was quickly tagged and then released once he had brought it under control next to the boat. Pete is saving hard for a return trip next year. |

Young Dan Middleton did extremely well to land this 9lb wild Common Carp from the Rife at Felpham. Although the Rife contains quite a few Carp they are very wily and difficult to catch.
Dan caught the fish whilst legering during a pleasure session on November 29th. The successful bait was sweetcorn.

Steve Middleton had this fine 5lb 3oz Bass during an evening B.R.A.A.S match on Bognor Pier on the the 25th November.
Steve was using a three hook flapper rig with Mackerel as bait

Despite having fished many of the country's top Barbel rivers and catching numerous Barbel it wasn't until Barry Stanton landed this fish from the Petworth and Bognor Angling Club stretch of the Rother at Coultershaw that he achieved his ambition of a double.
A delighted Barry is pictured with his 12lb 4oz PB Barbel, and to top it off he had another of 11lb 6oz an hour later, both were taken on hair-rigged 14mm Halibut Pellet. |

Dan Middleton caught this pristine Roach of 1lb whilst on a fishing holiday with his family at an Essex campsite at the beginning of October.
Although Dan was after one of the waters hard fighting Ghost Carp, he was not disapointed to catch the PB Roach which took a running legered 8mm halibut pellet on a size 10 hook with such a whack he was convinced it was one of the carp he had hooked. |
